what is DBT skills coaching?

DBT skills coaching is like having a guide help you in the moment when emotions are high or challenges come up. It’s meant to reinforce the skills you learn in therapy—such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness—by helping you use them in real-time, outside of session.

Our work together is collaborative and grounded in trust. In individual sessions, I offer concrete tools you can use in everyday life to navigate change, relationship challenges, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and personality disorders. We’ll use a blend of therapeutic approaches to explore patterns in your thoughts and behaviors—creating space for self-discovery, healing, and growth.
